Reflections at Bukit Chandu
Reflections at Bukit Chandu, is a stone throw away from the site of the Battle of Pasir Panjang. Leftenan Adnan lead a 42-strong platoon from the Malay regiment, sacrificing their lives fighting for Singapore and Malaya against the Japanese during World War II. The battle took place just before the British surrendered Singapore to the Japanese on Feb 15, 1942. The actions of Adnan and the soldiers from the Malay Regiment are immortalised at the centre.
